On June 2, 2025, James had the privilege of serving as a guest speaker at the American Banker Digital Banking Conference in Boca Raton, Florida. Invited by American Banker and conference organizers, he shared his unique perspective as a retired FBI Special Agent and now Director and Founder of Aspis Solutions Group.

In the session on New Fraud Trends, James discussed the evolving threat landscape, highlighting novel schemes targeting individuals and institutions, the dual impact of AI tools in both enabling and combating fraud, and the growing risks associated with third-party software.  James provided participants with actionable recommendations for managing vendor relationships, strengthening fraud prevention strategies, and adapting to the rapid pace of change in the digital banking environment.

The Digital Banking Conference brought together leaders from banks, neobanks, fintechs, and crypto companies to explore strategy, innovation, and outcomes shaping the future of finance. 

On August 26th, 2025, James was asked to speak at the Bright Light Creative Social Media Workshop in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. Invited by the founder of Bright Light Creative Colleen Kelley, he shared his expertise as Director and Founder of ASPIS Solutions Group, focusing on Situational Awareness and Realtor Safety. 

James provided actionable strategies for realtors, including recognizing red flags when meeting new clients, maintaining situational awareness, and making small but critical adjustments. This includes sharing schedules, planning a quick exit, and trusting your instinct when a situation feels “off” 

The Bright Light Creative Workshop brought together professionals across industries to share best practices for safety, marketing, and community engagement. James’ session stressed the importance that personal safety extends past real estate. Awareness is a lifestyle that protects lives both on and off the job.
